Online UK Retailer, Base, may have revealed the release dates for three Nintendo Switch games to be released in 2019. They have put up three listings on the site for Animal Crossing for Nintendo Switch, Luigi’s Mansion 3, and Daemon X Machina. Nintendo hasn’t officially announced these dates for the games yet so this information should be seen as a rumour until we get confirmation from Nintendo themselves.
Their website says:
- Animal Crossing for Nintendo Switch: £47.85 (RRP £59.99)
- Luigi’s Mansion 3: £39.85 (RRP £49.99)
- Daemon X Machina: £39.85 (RRP £49.99)
New Super Mario Bros U Deluxe released last Friday and it has managed to go straight to number 1 on the charts in the United Kingdom. It has also managed to sell 24.8% more than what it did in a similar period on the Wii U.
Although, the Wii U had a smaller install base so we can’t tell for certain exactly how much better this is, but it certainly shows the success of the Switch!
The UK video game charts have been published today including the sales after the Christmas holidays, and the Game Industry is reporting that Nintendo Switch game sales have managed to increase over 90% in 2018 over what it did in 2017.
